Long Beach FC is delighted to welcome Long Beach Coast as a community partner.
"We've been working very hard both on the field and off the field to grow the club this season and this partnership with Long Beach Coast is definitely the fruits of the labor and the work that we put in." - Willie L. Alexander III, Co-Founder of Long Beach FC.
Long Beach Coast will kick off their inaugural season in the Pioneer League this summer, marking the first time in over a decade that a professional baseball team has put down roots in Long Beach. The Coast (and their alternate identity, The Regulators) will call historic Blair Field home for 51 games from June until September.
"It's a huge honor to be partnered with not only a professional team, but a city that supports us and soccer," said Long Beach Coast second baseman and outfielder Jacob Jablonski.
"To give us another shot at being a pro ball team in Long Beach is just an amazing blessing, and the city's been treating us amazing."
Long Beach Coast and Long Beach Football Club will team up throughout the season on gamedays and beyond to foster and promote the growth of professional sports in Long Beach.
"It's awesome to have a community partner in (Long Beach Coast) that we can rely on in the city," said Alexander.
"Community is really important to us at Long Beach FC and we know it's important to the Long Beach Coast as well. So we're excited that we have that in common."
Long Beach FC will join Long Beach Coast for their home opener on June 2nd at Blair Field.
For a chance to win tickets to the Long Beach Coast home opener, join Long Beach FC at Legends Sports Bar on Saturday, May 30 for a UEFA Champions League Final watch party.
